Trikala Christmas village & Meteora

Join us on a day trip to see the amazing Meteora and visit Santa’s Workshop at Trikala’s Christmas Village!
We’ll spend the night hours driving towards Kalambaka with short breaks and a stop at the border patrol. First we will visit the monastery area Meteora with its giant rock formations and see the complexes of Eastern Orthodox monasteries built on top of them. The 6 of the original 24 monasteries were built between the 13th and 14th centuries and are UNESCO World Heritage sight. We’ll do an optional visit of the largest monastery “The Monastery of Great Meteoron”.
After Meteora, we’ll head towards Trikala (about 30min drive), where we’ll visit ”The Mill of the Elves” – the largest Christmas theme park in Greece and the Balkans. Together we’ll let fantasy take over for the evening and enjoy the many activities such as Santa’s workshop, the ice skating rink, the thrilling rides, the Chocolate factory, the Candy castle and so much more. We’ll have plenty of free time to write a letter to Santa, ride the ferris wheel or any of the other rides, drink mulled wine and grab some gyros for dinner.
We’ll depart towards Macedonia in the evening hours with short breaks along the way. Arrival around midnight.
